With family ties this cold, I'm done serving. It's time to strike out on my own

Rating: 5.00 (2 ratings)
Description:

I grew up by my grandfather's side, fulfilling my filial duty to my parents, until his passing, after which my parents took me home. I had been looking forward to finally returning home and living with my siblings. But upon returning home, filled with joy, I discovered the cold indifference of my family. Not only did they fail to pay my tuition and living expenses, but my siblings frequently made things difficult for me, subjecting me to hardship and cold treatment, showing absolutely no affection. Only then did I realize that my lack of sibling support from a you age was the root of the problem. This return home might even mean taking a share of their inheritance, fueling their resentment and a desire to expel me from the house to avoid competing for the family fortune. My mother turned a blind eye to her siblings' attitude, pretending not to notice. My father was constantly out socializing, and I rarely saw him, only seeing him once every ten days or so; I had no idea what he was thinking. After figuring out the whole reason why my family was so cold to me, I turned around and left, choosing to start my own business.
